About the Role:
Lake Lucerne Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry in Orlando, FL is looking for a warm, motivated Front Desk Patient Advocate to be the welcoming face of our practice. Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive first impression
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
- Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients in understanding their coverage
- Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information
- Answer and screen incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and follow up on treatment plans
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
Requirements:
- Prior dental or medical front desk experience required
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix)
- Familiarity with patient communication systems (NexHealth, Weave)
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes (Overjet)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Multi-lingual skills (we speak Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi at our office)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy front office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor at all times

Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
